The OAS Annual Scientific Meetings feature the latest education, techniques, and research in the realm of ophthalmic surgery and anesthesia. We look forward to meeting you in San Antonio, Texas, February 27-28, 2026


Invited faculty members are a diverse mix of Ophthalmologists, Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, Administrators, and more, bringing you a multifaceted perspective of the field and well-rounded educational content.

The purpose of the OAS annual meeting is to educate its members, as well as other interested healthcare professionals, and share information that will enable them to provide the highest level of anesthesia service during ophthalmic surgery. The content is appropriate for Ophthalmologists, Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, PAs, AAs, RNs, Administrators, Ophthalmic Surgical Technicians, and other members of the ophthalmic anesthesia care team.

Join your colleagues after the conference on Saturday at The County Line (Legendary Texas BBQ) on the famous San Antonio Riverwalk.
Enjoy beer, margarita or a mocktail and BBQ appetizers. This is just an 11 minute walk from the hotel and a 4 minute walk to The Alamo!

We'll have a section of the venue reserved just for OAS from 6 – 8 pm.  Register here or with your meeting registration.

Mr. Harvey has performed over 60,000 blocks and will teach participants the most up to date techniques. Mr. Harvey is a founding member of the Ophthalmic Anesthesia Society and recently served 38 years as the Chief of Anesthesia for the Florida Eye Clinic ASC. Mr. Harvey developed an orbital eye simulator and launched an accredited on-line Ophthalmic Block Training Program, utilizing a 3-D orbital eye model.

How do I register?

  • Click here. OAS members should log in first in order to receive member rates (be sure to pay your 2026 dues!)

Can I register for the Sunday workshop only?

  • Yes.  
What if I have specific questions?
  • If you need any additional information, or if we may be of assistance to you in any way, please contact Rachael Reed at rreed@eyeanesthesia.org 

What if I need to cancel my registration?

  • Cancellation after January 22, 2026 will not be refunded. Cancellations prior to January 22, 2026 will be charged a 25% processing fee. 
  • Please let us know as soon as possible.
  • Attendees are responsible for contacting the hotel and canceling their room reservations. Hotel has a cancellation policy that is subject to fees.
