Anna Zanot is currently a second year medical student at the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. Anna also conducts research at the MD Anderson Cancer Center Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine. As an undergraduate at the University of Texas at Austin, Anna maintained social media connections as Vice President of the Caduceus pre-medical society. Anna continues to utilize social media as a medical student through information sharing on the class Facebook page. From sharing articles on novel therapies to updates on accomplishments within the UT Health community, social media has become an integral part of medical school culture. Facebook is a valuable tool for updating medical professionals and students on health news within the medical center and globally. I look forward to promoting the interests and accomplishments of the OAS community.
